Academic Institutional Membership

Academic membership is available to any academic and/or research facility that includes health, medical informatics or bioinformatics and associated fields of interest in their curriculum or research programs.

Benefits:

• The facility to network with peer organizations on a global level for the interchange of ideas, collaborative efforts, student/faculty exchange etc.
• The opportunity to participate in IMIA’s Working and Special Interest Groups.
• Participation in the IMIA General Assembly, IMIA’s governing body.
• The right to use the IMIA logo and "An Academic Institutional Member of IMIA, the International Medical Informatics Association" on stationary, website and other materials.
• Inclusion on the IMIA website along with a link to the institution’s website.
• Free access to post news on the IMIA website’s online News and Announcements (subject to editing)
• Free access to post meetings and seminars, etc. on IMIA’s "Meetings & Conferences" section of the website online.
• Inclusion in IMIA’s annual Yearbook of Medical Informatics as an IMIA Academic member.
• A complimentary copy of the Yearbook along with free access to the full electronic version of the Yearbook for faculty, staff and students.

Fees:

Annual fee: $US 475.00 on a Calendar year basis payable upon application
