CoMHI Community, Cultural and Social Activities, 23-24 November 2009
Dr Kiyomu Ishikawa, Chair of the CoMHI 2009 events, is please to invite IMIA Board and General Assembly members to the following activities. These are all free of charge (unless otherwise indicated). Registration for CoMHI 2009 events is not necessary to attend these events, but you will need to inform Dr Kiyomu Ishikawa (comhi09@hiroshima-u.ac.jp) if you wish to attend the 24 November evening social events, as space is limited.

CoMHI Social Event "Community Day & Cultural Evening" (Free for IMIA Board and GA members). Five sessions will be held -
From 13:30 at the "Phoenix hall" in International Conference Center:
- Welcome to Hiroshima; Dr. Shizuteru Usui, President of Hiroshima Prefectural Medical Association
- Plenary Lecture by Professor Eike Kluge (Victoria Univ.)
- Role play of termination care conference by Onomichi Medical Association
- Kagura "Yamata-no-Orochi": Japanese Mythical Dance on the story of Hero slaying 8-head dragon "Yamata-no-Orochi".
From 18:00 at conference room "Dahlia" on B2 floor in International Conference Center:
- Welcome reception for international guests

CoMHI Social Event: "Special Events Friendly Evening Modern and Traditional Sites in Hiroshima"
Part 1: Event will start at 18:00 at Hiroshima Modern Museum (free for CoMHI and IMIA members admission to museum available from around 17:00) http://www.hcmca.cf.city.hiroshima.jp/web/main_e/menupage.html
Attendants will be picked up at the Central Receptions of CoMHI (International Convention Center BF1) or in front of Hiroshima Institute of Technology at around 17: 15. (It will takes about about fifteen minute).
Part 2: Dinner at "Tou Shou" (Traditional Japanese Restaurant - http://www.toufu-tosho.jp/) at 19:30 (7 min. walk from the museum there will be a charge of 3,000 Japanese Yen for the meal booking essential).
